About Surah Dukhan
Surah Dukhan is the 44th chapter of the Holy Quran and contains 59 verses. It was revealed in Makkah and teaches us about Allah’s power, mercy, and punishment. The name Ad-Dukhan means “The Smoke,” which is one of the signs mentioned in the Surah. It warns people who reject the truth and reminds them of the fate of Pharaoh and his people. The Surah also tells how Allah saved Prophet Musa (Moses) and the Children of Israel. It describes the beautiful rewards waiting for righteous believers in Paradise.
